When you tell us the location and what you're lighting, we work out the draw and send the right generator with the right distro — riding out on the same Photon truck as your grip and lighting, with a Photon crew member who knows how to run it safely. Need more power than our own units carry? We can source larger generators for the production and fold them into the same booking.

HOW PRODUCTIONS USE IT
Exterior commercial days run the 7K when the location has nothing usable — farm, field, parking lot, waterfront. Documentary and corporate crews take the 2K for a lean interview kit somewhere without a reliable outlet. Industrial and warehouse shoots use generators because the building's power isn't yours to touch, and rural locations use them because there's simply nothing else for a mile. In every case the value is the same: the shoot brings its own power and stops negotiating with the location.

We work out the draw with you and send the generator and distro that covers it with headroom — and if your day needs more power than our own units carry, we can source larger generators and include them in the booking. That conversation is part of every quote; nobody should be doing load math on a location scout.

The Hondas are the quiet end of production power, and with sensible placement and cable runs they work for dialogue on most locations. Tell us you're recording sound when you request a quote and we'll plan the placement and the cable length for it.

Our gear goes out on our trucks with a Photon crew member — generators included. In practice that's a feature: the power arrives with the lighting it's running and someone who knows how to tie it in safely. Tell us about the shoot and we'll build the right package.
